Kazakhstan. Sunflower oil production remains at the same level as last year

Kazakhstan’s fat-and-oil industry showed the following operating results in October 2020:
– production of unrefined sunflower oil fell by 13%, refining lowered by 2%, with 23.5% and 86% slumps in soybean oil and palm oil, respectively;
– production of unrefined sunflower oil in MY 2020/21 (September-October) was down 1.2% on the year, while soybean oil and rape oil output fell by 47% and 80%, respectively; sunflower oil refining was up 1.5% from the same period last year, UkrAgroConsult reports.
