Ukraine actively exported soybean meal to EU

Ukrainian soybean meal exports in September 2019 hit a record high for this month, at some 67 KMT. In view of a slight gain in soybean crush, they jumped at the expense of decreased meal inventories.
Exports in MY 2019/20 are forecast down 5-6% from MY 2018/19 because of the drop in soybean production and smaller crush.
The EU remains the top importer with a market share of 60%. The volume of its purchases increased more than threefold from the same time last season, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Growth in exports was registered to Belarus (manifold), Poland (+216%) and Hungary (+211%). Azerbaijan and Romania reduced imports.
