UAE remains the main importer of Ukrainian flour

This season’s exports of Ukrainian flour totaled 50 KMT that was 38% lower compared to a year ago. 14.8 KMT of flour was exported in September (-9% from August, -53% from September 2019/20), UkrAgroConsult reports.
As before, the main importer is the UAE, which absorbs 23% of exports from Ukraine.
In September, the highest volume went to Moldova, making this country the second biggest importer of Ukrainian flour.
Singapore did not import Ukrainian flour in September, China has made no purchase since July (exports to China were down 82% on the year).
The following countries also reduced purchases: Palestine (-26%), Somali (-27%), Mozambique (-42%).
A rise was seen in exports to the following countries: Moldova (+7%), Singapore (+26%), Israel (up 2.6 times), Venezuela (up five times).
