Sumy region exports agricultural products to 10 countries in 2020

This year, Sumy region has exported its agricultural products to ten countries of the world.
The director of the Department for Agro-Industrial Development of Sumy Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Maslak, said this to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“In January-April 2020, Sumy region’s enterprises exported food products to ten countries. In particular, 640 tonnes of beef meat were exported to Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and China; 26.5 tonnes of poultry meat – to Benin; 19.5 tonnes of hard cheese – to Kyrgyzstan; 160 tonnes of butter – to Azerbaijan, Georgia; 898,6 thousand pieces of chicken eggs – to the UAE; 2,851 tonnes of sunflower oil and 5,701 tonnes of sunflower meal – to Poland, Belarus,” the official said.
During this period, seven processing enterprises of Sumy region delivered their products abroad.
