Russia. Is the imposition of a sunflower oil duty delayed?

The parties to agreements on sugar and oil price stabilization fulfil their obligations, says the Federal antimonopoly service of Russia.

On December 16, the Industry and Trade Ministry, the Agriculture Ministry, major Russian food retailers and producers signed agreements on the stabilization of sugar and sunoil prices (to be valid from December 20, 2020 till April 1, 2021).

The sunoil price limits are set at RUB 95 per liter from crushers and RUB 110 per liter from stores.

The imposition of an export tax on sunflower soil is possible in case of failure to fulfill the agreement’s terms. In all probability, this step will not be made, UkrAgroConsult reports.
