New grower contracts support increasing demand for omega-3 canola oil

Continued commercial growth for Nuseed Omega-3 Canola Oil means increased opportunities for canola growers. Grower contracts are now available to reserve production acres in 2021. Nuseed contracts offer exceptional rebate programs, guaranteed purchase for the full harvest, and generous premiums for specialty canola expertise.
Nuseed representatives and top agronomists provide local technical support. Post-harvest, Nuseed provides on-farm pickup and pre-delivery payment terms.
More than 75,000 acres have been grown and harvested for commercial sale in prior seasons. The first commercial sale of Aquaterra® Omega-3 Canola Oil in October 2020 was met with enthusiasm by the aquaculture industry and resulted in steadily increasing sales. Regularly scheduled shipments of Aquaterra® are departing North America to supply global customers.
Demand for Nuseed’s Omega-3 oil will continue to increase as we develop additional end user markets. Nuseed’s strong partnerships with world-class leaders in oil processing and supply chain ensure scalability to meet this demand, while adherence to Excellence Through Stewardship certifies Nuseed’s Omega-3 canola is grown under the highest standards of responsible biotechnology management. Growers are the most important partners in delivering this new source of long-chain omega-3 and filling the gap between how much omega-3 is needed and how little the ocean can sustainably produce.
