Ukraine exported 5.2 MMT of sunflower oil
A record 5173 KMT of sunflower oil was exported in September-May 2019/20 (+9.3% year-on-year), UkrAgroConsult reports.
All the top importers, except for India, increased purchases of Ukrainian sunflower oil: EU countries, China, Iraq, Egypt, the UAE.
Exports to India fell by 314 KMT (down 18%), with this season’s purchases from Russia exceeding 420 KMT vs. 31 KMT a year earlier.
Growth in exports was observed to the following markets: Spain, Poland, The Netherlands.
A slowdown in exports was registered to Germany, Lebanon, Great Britain.
