Russia produced more than 5MMT of vegetable oils

Vegetable oil production in Russia in September-April 2019/20 totaled 5029 KMT (+16.5% year-on-year), UkrAgroConsult reports.

Sunflower oil output increased by 23.5% from the same period last year, while rape oil production gained 4.9%, soybean oil production gained 2.9%.

According to official data on oilseeds stocks in Russia as of May 1:

– oilseeds stocks were down 26% from a year earlier;
– sunflower seed stocks were 30% down than last year.
