Kazakhstan restored wheat exports in June
Kazakhstan exported about 3.7 MMT of wheat since the beginning of the season (-23% year-on-year), UkrAgroConsult reports. Export restrictions were lifted in June, thus June exports grew by 37% from May and by 16% from June 2018/19).
In June, the highest volume was shipped to Uzbekistan, whose export share equals 50%.
All major export destinations show a decrease in demand: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China, the EU, Turkmenistan. The exception is Afghanistan: +30%.
