Flour exports from Kazakhstan at a 12-year low
Kazakhstan exported 176.2 KMT of flour in November 2019/20, or 2% more than in October and down 20% from November 2018/19, reports UkrAgroConsult.
This season’s flour exports from Kazakhstan had totaled 455.5 KMT – the least since MY 2007/08.
The key export destinations remain unchanged: Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and China.
All importing countries reduced purchases, except for Tajikistan: +150%;
As before, the biggest importer is Afghanistan with a 63% share. However, its share dropped by 6% from MY 2018/19 and the volume of purchases correspondingly dwindled by 30%.
