Chinese demand for Ukrainian flour plummeted by 72%

Flour exports from Ukraine in August totaled 16.3 KMT (-14% from July, and -29% from August 2019/20), UkrAgroConsult reports.
35,25 MT of wheat flour was exported from the start of the season (-28% y-o-y).
As before, the biggest importer is the United Arab Emirates, which bought 9.6 KMT in July-August (down 39% year-on-year).
The following buyers reduced purchases as well: China: -72% and Palestine: -41%.
The following countries boosted imports from Ukraine: Singapore: +113%, Israel: +76%, Somalia: +37%, Moldova: +4%, Mozambique: +3%, Venezuela: sixfold.
