Ukraine. Potoky oil extractor began exporting a unique sunflower seed product

Potoky Oil Extraction Plant has begun exporting sunflower concentrate “Proglot”, which was invented in 2019, to Poland, Turkey and Belarus, UkrAgroConsult reports.

The promising export markets include Greece, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.

The concentrate production technology is based on low-temperature extraction with maximal removal of hulls. This allows reaching a high protein digestibility coefficient of 90.6% and high gross energy of 19.7 MJ/kg.

The product has high protein content (48%) that makes it possible to fully substitute soybean meal in animal diets.
