Ukraine harvested 41.7 million tons of grains and oilseeds

As of the end of September, Ukrainian farmers harvested 41.7 million tons of new crops: 30.5 million tons of grains and 11.2 million tons of oilseeds.
Grain and pulses were harvested on an area of 6,972 thou hectares with a yield of 43.7 c/ha, including
- wheat was harvested on 4,693 thou hectares (yield 47.3 c/ha), with a harvest of 22,204 tons
- barley was harvested on 1 504 thousand hectares (yield – 39.0 c/ha), with a harvest of 5 863 thousand tons;
- peas were harvested on 154.4 thousand hectares (yield – 25.7 c/ha), 396.8 thousand tons were harvested;
- corn was harvested on 146.5 thousand hectares (yield – 54.2 c/ha), 793.2 thousand tons were harvested;
- buckwheat was harvested on 109.4 thousand hectares (yield – 14.4 c/ha), harvested 157.8 thousand tons;
- millet was harvested on 64.2 thou hectares (yield – 21.8 c/ha), with a harvest of 139.9 thou tons;
- other grains and pulses were harvested on 300 thou hectares, yielding 912.5 thou tons.
Oilseeds were harvested on the area of 4 450 thou hectares, namely:
- rapeseed was harvested on an area of 1,396 thou hectares (yield – 28.7 c/ha), 4003 thousand tons of seeds were harvested;
- sunseed was harvested on the area of 2 194 thousand hectares (yield – 22.9 c/ha), 5031 thousand tons of seeds were harvested;
- soybeans were harvested on the area of 861 thousand hectares (yield – 25.6 c/ha), 2 205 thousand tons were harvested.
Sugar beet harvesting continues, with 49.6 thou hectares of sugar beet harvested, 2,290 thou tons of sweet roots harvested, yielding 462.2 c/ha.
