Ukraine exported 6.1 million tons of grain
As of September 25, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 6 mln 152 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 1 mln 356 thsd tonnes less than last year on the same date. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of September 25, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 2 mln 988 thsd tonnes, up 338 thsd tonnes or 1.1 times compared to last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 599 thousand tons of barley and 0.6 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 2 mln 544 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 690 thsd tonnes or 1.6 times less than last year.
Also, 33.8 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 45.1 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is 11.7 thousand tons or 1.5 times more than last year.
It is worth noting that the previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated September 22. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the export volume of grains and pulses was 6 mln 038 thsd tonnes.
