UAE’s share in Ukrainian flour exports reached 25% in 2019/20 season
Flour exports in June totaled 17.8 KMT (-10% from May, -42% from June 2018/19).
335 KMT was exported in the whole of the 2019/20 season (+11% from MY 2018/19), UkrAgroConsult reports.
The main importer this season was the UAE – the country purchased 85 KMT and expanded its share in total exports of Ukrainian flour from 16% to 25%.
The greatest year-on-year increases are shown by Hong Kong and Indonesia.
Mozambique is a newcomer this season, but it has already bought 26 KMT and become the sixth biggest importer of flour from Ukraine.
Last season’s major buyers decreased their demand: China: -27%, Palestine: -11%, Moldova: -18%, Israel: -3%.
