Turkey made efforts to save the “grain deal” until the end
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has commented on Russia’s statement on the termination of the grain deal. This was reported by Anadolu. According to him, the “grain deal” went down in history as an example of successful diplomacy.
“Despite today’s statement, I believe that Russian President Putin wants this humanitarian bridge to continue,” the Turkish leader added. He noted that he intends to discuss this issue with Putin again.
As a reminder, on July 17, the Kremlin announced that the grain deal had been suspended.
