Kuleba calls on the UN to help restore the “grain deal”

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has called on the United Nations to make efforts to restore the grain deal.

The Foreign Ministry said that on Wednesday, April 26, Kuleba met with the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Cui Dongyu.

During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of providing technical support to promote food exports from Ukraine and support the development of the humanitarian program Grain from Ukraine.

On Wednesday, April 26, Russia again blocked the Black Sea grain corridor.

On April 24, the Russian Defense Ministry accused Ukraine of “violating” its obligations under the grain deal by attacking maritime drones in occupied Sevastopol, which were allegedly launched from the waters of the port of Odesa. The Russian side, which regularly tries to disrupt the deal, said it was “threatening another extension of the agreement after May 18.”

Andriy Yusov, a spokesman for the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, responded to the aggressor country’s lies and emphasized that the events in occupied Crimea concerned only military facilities.
