Jordan purchased 60 thousand tons of barley
On December 20, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of feed barley of random origin. This is reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
At the tender 60 thousand tons of barley was purchased from GrainFlower company at $243.5 per ton on the basis of C&F Aqaba with delivery from June 16 to June 30, 2024.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- Viterra, which offered barley at $248.99 per tonne
- Bunge – $255.49
- Ameropa – $248.75
- Olam – $259.48
- Anderson – $263.79.
- Cargill – $267.20
- CHS – $262.50
- Cerealcom – $251.00
- Nestwise – $269.50
