Jordan canceled a tender for wheat purchase
On July 9, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade canceled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of flour-milling wheat of random origin. This is reported by Reuters.
Seven companies participated in the tender: Viterra, CHS, Cargill, Ameropa, Buildcom, Al Dahra, Andersons. The reason for the cancelation was that the prices were too high.
The next tender for the purchase of a similar volume of wheat will be held on July 16.
