In France, more than half of the planned area was sown with winter wheat
As of October 23, winter soft wheat sowing in France was carried out on 54% of the planned area, which is 1% more than on the same date on average over the past five years. This is reported by the state agency FranceAgriMer.
Winter barley was sown at 69% of the plan (69% on the same date on average over the past five years), winter durum wheat – 4% (5%).
Corn harvesting was completed on 85% (74%) of the area.
