Harvesting campaign started in Ukraine

Agricultural producers of Odessa region were the first in Ukraine to start the harvest. Harvesting of winter barley has started in Izmail district.
This was reported by the press service of the Odessa regional military administration.
This year, the Odesa region is to harvest winter grain from an area of 1.061 million hectares.
“In particular, 551 thousand hectares of winter wheat, 244 thousand hectares of winter barley, 50 thousand hectares of spring barley, 190 thousand hectares of rapeseed,” the press service said.
It will be recalled that the government considers the use of mobile granaries as one of the options for storing grain in a situation of lack of elevators.
