Grain exports from Ukraine exceeded 5 million tons
As of September 8, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 5 mln 054 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 237 thsd tonnes less than last year on the same date. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 2 mln 293 thsd tonnes, which is 642 thsd tonnes or more than 1.3 times more than last year.
Also, as of September 8, Ukrainian farmers exported 528 thousand tons of barley and 0.6 thousand tons of rye.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 2 million 220 thousand tons, which is 954 thousand tons less than last year.
Also, 27.5 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 36.7 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is 11.9 thousand tons or 1.8 times more than last year.
It is worth noting that the previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated September 1. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the export volume of grains and pulses was 4 mln 521 thsd tonnes.
