Egypt won’t achieve wheat local procurement of 4 million tonnes this season
Egypt will not achieve its local wheat procurement target of four million tonnes for the season which is about to end, a senior government official told on Thursday.
The Egyptian government has procured 3.2 million of tonnes of local wheat from farmers so far this season, Kamal Hashem, chairman of the state-run General Company for Silos and Storage said.
