COFCO to step up vegoil imports to China
In early November, at the 3rd China International Import Expo (Shanghai), COFCO Group signed deals for the purchase of more than USD 10 Bl worth of products, UkrAgroConsult reports.
According to the contracts, COFCO intends to increase import of grains and vegetable oils (rape, sunflower, palm oils) to China by 20% versus last year.
Most of the purchased commodities will come to the Chinese market from countries participating in the Belt and Roas Initiative.
