Blocking the “grain deal” will allow Russia to earn additional funds – Zelensky
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that blocking the “grain corridor” would allow Russia to earn additional funds. He said this in an interview with Globo News.
“We are talking about the survival of the world, about hunger, about the real social chaos that can occur due to the lack of supply of agricultural products. And for him, it is pressure. First of all, it is money,” the Head of State noted.
“Blocking our grain is very simple. He is realizing his own interests. He is moving away from competition and the price of his product is increasing, because it is becoming an “exclusive on blood”, I would say. That is, this is the pragmatism of a person who does not respect international law and who is being given the opportunity to disrespect this right today,” he added.
At the same time, Zelenskyy noted that Putin is “a really inadequate person today, with his environment, in which people make a lot of money on such blockades, on such processes, a very pragmatic circle of people who live in this.”
“As long as there is a war, they make a lot of money, but he is radically determined to destroy people in Ukraine,” the president said.
