Almost 5.8 million hectares of winter crops have been sown in Ukraine
As of the second half of November, Ukrainian farmers sowed almost 5.8 mln ha of winter crops: 4 mln 605 thou ha of grain, including 4 022 thou ha of wheat, 506 thou ha of barley and 77 thou ha of rye. The increase in grain plantings for the week amounted to 90.7 thou hectares.
Ten regions of Ukraine have already completed winter crops sowing. In other regions, the sowing campaign is also nearing completion.
As a reminder, agricultural producers in all regions of Ukraine have completed sowing winter rapeseed, planting 1 mln 159 thsd ha.
