Turkey meat market in Ukraine

Turkey production in Ukraine for the last 4 years has been growing at a solid pace. The main drivers of the market are an increase in demand for organic and diet turkey meat, while beef production is declining, active investment into large-scale production, and increase in the number of livestock and the use of advanced production technology.

Despite the active development of this sector, the consumption of turkeys in Ukraine remains extremely low.

Negative impact on the market has the decrease of purchasing power of the population, which is likely to lead to a reduction in the rate of growth in both production and consumption.
