Ukrainian harvested 57.2 million tons of grains and oilseeds

Ukraine has already harvested 62.2 million tons of new crops on an area of 16.8 million hectares. In total, almost 40.2 million tons of grains, 17 million tons of oilseeds and almost 5 million tons of sugar beet were harvested. In particular
- wheat – 4.9 million hectares (or 100%) were threshed, with a harvest of 22.3 million tons;
- barley – 1.4 million hectares (or 100%) were harvested, with a harvest of 5.5 million tons;
- peas – 212.2 thou hectares (or 100%) were harvested, with a total harvest of 465.3 thou tons;
- corn – 1.9 million hectares (or 48%) were harvested, with a total harvest of 10.6 million tons;
- millet – 82.9 thou hectares (or 89%) were harvested, with a total harvest of 156.1 thou tons;
- buckwheat – 85.8 thou hectares (or 96%), harvested 124.3 thou tons;
- sunseed – 4.3 million hectares (or 87%) were harvested, with 8.8 million tons of seeds harvested;
- soybeans – 2.1 million hectares (or 80%) were harvested, with 4.8 million tons of seeds harvested;
- rapeseed – 1.3 million hectares (or 100%) were harvested, with 3.5 million tons of seeds harvested.
In terms of gross grain harvest, the leaders are agricultural producers in Odesa region – 4.2 mln tonnes, Poltava region – 3.5 mln tonnes, and Kirovograd region – 2.7 mln tonnes. In terms of grain yields, farmers in Khmelnytsky region are ahead with 6.55 t/ha, Bukovyna – 6.3 t/ha, Cherkasy – 6.05 t/ha, and Ivano-Frankivsk – 6.02 t/ha.
Farmers in 12 regions are harvesting sugar beet.
