Ukraine’s rapeseed export potential almost 100% realized

The first half of MY 2019/20 witnessed record high exports at a total of about 3 MMT (up 28.8% year-on-year), reports UkrAgroConsult.
The EU is still the top importer with a market share equaling 95% (Germany and Belgium absorbed 34.7% and 28.7% of total shipments to the EU, respectively).
Supplies to the European Union are up 38.6% year-on-year due to both a rapeseed crop decline in Europe and a rise in Ukraine’s rapeseed export potential.
Ukraine ceased exports to Pakistan and Mexico.
Growth in exports is registered to the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
A slowdown in exports is observed to UAE, Nepal, Portugal.
