Ukraine. MY 2020/21 witnessed a 7% gain in sunflower oil exports to China
Sunflower oil exports from Ukraine in MY 2020/21 totaled 5276.9 KMT (-21% y-o-y, the lowest in five seasons), UkrAgroConsult reports.
Ukrainian exporters have shipped abroad 98% of the exportable volume (5.38 MMT) set in the Memorandum between the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine and UkrOliyaProm Association.
Shipments to key export markets changed as follows: China (+7%), India (-18%), EU countries (-31%).
Growth in exports was registered to Switzerland (+156%), Portugal (+90%) and the UK (+13%).
A slowdown in exports was fixed to Egypt (-76%), Italy (-42%) and Spain (-36%).
