Ukraine exported over 36 million tons of grain
As of April 5, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 36 mln 028 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 2 mln 424 thsd tonnes or 1.06 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 14 mln 228 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 058 thsd tonnes or 1.08 times more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 973 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 19 mln 533 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 143 thsd tonnes or 1.16 times less than last year.
In addition, 80.8 thousand tons of flour (or 107.7 thousand tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 36.7 thousand tons or 1.45 times less than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and legume exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on April 3. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY, the exports amounted to 35 mln 416 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses.
