Ukraine exported almost 31.9 million tons of grain
As of March 13, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 31 mln 887 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 2 mln 339 thsd tonnes or 1.07 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 12 mln 761 thsd tonnes, which is 894 thsd tonnes more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 782 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 17 mln 059 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 859 thsd tonnes or 1.16 times less than last year.
In addition, 75.7 thou tons of flour (or 100.9 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 29.4 thou tons or 1.38 times less than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and legume exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on March 11. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY 31 mln 212 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
