Ukraine exported almost 21 million tons of grain
As of January 17, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 20 mln 941 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 4 mln 196 thsd tonnes or 1.2 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 8 mln 328 thsd tonnes, which is 754 thsd tonnes less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 220 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 11 mln 244 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 975 thsd tonnes or 1.26 times less than last year.
Also, 62.2 thousand tons of flour were exported (82.9 thousand tons in terms of grain), which is 14.3 thousand tons less than last year.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
Preliminary data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on exports of grains and pulses were dated January 15. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY 20 mln 563 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.
