Ukraine. 96% of winter crops have already been sown from the projected areas

Ukrainian farmers have already sown over 6 million hectares of winter crops. In particular, almost 5 million hectares (96%) of winter grains have been sown, and more than 1.08 million hectares of winter rapeseed.
In particular
- winter wheat – 4.4 million hectares (97%);
- winter barley – 577.8 thou hectares (90%);
- winter rye – 68.1 thou hectares (97%);
- winter rape – 1.08 mln ha (96%).
Among the leaders in terms of sowing winter crops for grain are farmers of Odesa region – 710 thou hectares, Dnipropetrovs’k region – 528 thou hectares and Mykolaiv region – 503.1 thou hectares.
Agrarians in 14 regions have completed sowing of winter crops. Farmers in 12 regions have finished sowing winter rape.
