Tunisia purchased 150 thsd tons of wheat at tender
On July 4, the Grain Agency of Tunisia (ODC) held tenders for the purchase of 50 thousand tons of hard and 100 thousand tons of soft wheat. This is reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
The company purchased 50 thousand tons of durum wheat from Casillo – 25 thousand tons at $229.67 and the same amount at $231.49 per ton.
The winners of the tender for the purchase of soft wheat were:
Buildcom – 25 thousand tons at $244.77 per ton and 25 thousand tons at $247.77 per ton
Viterra – 25 th. tons at $247.94 per ton
Promising – 25 ths. tons at $248.50 per ton.
Under the terms of the tender, 25 thousand tons of durum wheat will be delivered in August, 25 thousand tons – in September. If wheat will be of American or Canadian origin, delivery terms will be July-September. Soft wheat will be delivered in July-August.
