The area under oats in Ukraine is almost the same as last year
This year, Ukrainian farmers sowed oats on an area of 163.4 thsd hectares, which is almost the same as last year (165 thsd hectares).
This is reported by AgroTimes with reference to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the State Statistics Service.
Most of the oats were sown:
Volyn region – 36 thsd hectares;
Zhytomyr region – 27.5 thsd hectares;
Chernihiv region – 23.2 thsd hectares;
Rivne region – 19.8 thsd hectares:
Lviv region – 11.2 thsd hectares.
