This morning May soybeans are down 2¾¢.
May corn is up 2¼¢.
CBOT wheat is flat. KC wheat is down 4½¢. Minneapolis wheat is up less than a penny.
“Weekly export sales were a little improved from last week for corn and soybeans, but not exceptional,” says The Brock Report. “USDA reported solid net corn export sales of 1.387 [million metric tons] mmt, up from 1.283 mmt the prior week and at the higher end of trade guesses that ranged from 800,000 to 1.4 mmt.
“For soybeans, USDA reported net sales of 499,600 metric tons, up from 376,000 the prior week and within trade guesses of 250,000 to 800,000.
“For wheat, USDA reported net cancellations of minus 109,600 for the current marketing year, compared to plus 83,804 metric tons last week and trade guesses of minus 200,000 to plus 500,000.”
Live cattle are down 30¢. Feeder cattle are down 90¢. Lean hogs are down 20¢.
Crude oil is down 37¢.
S&P 500 futures are up 30 points. Dow futures are up 269 points.
