May corn is up slightly this morning while May soybeans are down 10½¢.
CBOT wheat is up 3¼¢. KC wheat is up 4¼¢. Minneapolis wheat is up 4¢.
This morning USDA released the weekly Export Sales report for the week ending April 18. Wheat export sales fell within the expected range at 82,000 metric tons for 2023/2024. Soybeans were below expectations at 210,900 metric tons for the 2023/2024 marketing year. Corn export sales exceeded expectations at 1,299,900 metric tons for 2023/2024.
Live cattle are up $1.05. Feeder cattle are up 58¢. Lean hogs are down $1.45.
Crude oil is down 55¢.
The U.S. Dollar Index June contract is down to 105.52.
S&P 500 futures are down 70 points. Dow futures are down 680 points.
