The document establishes a quota for the export of wheat and meslin for 2022 in the amount of 8 million tons, rye, barley and corn – in the aggregate volume of 3 million tons.
Earlier, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation reported that this mechanism is aimed at ensuring the food security of the Russian Federation, as well as at limiting the growth of domestic prices for basic grain crops, which can lead to an increase in the cost price and consumer prices for the final products of the milling, cereals, bakery and meat and dairy industries in Russia and the EAEU countries.
