Polish farmers unblock truck traffic through the largest checkpoint on the border with Ukraine
Polish protesters have resumed truck traffic through the Yahodyn-Dorohusk checkpoint. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
According to Polish border guards, today at 13 o’clock the protest of Polish farmers in front of the Dorohusk-Yagodyn checkpoint, which lasted from February 9, ended.
It is noted that the registration and passage of freight transport across the border in both directions is carried out as usual.
As reported, on the morning of April 20, Polish protesters ended their protest at the Shehyni-Medica and Krakowiec-Korczowa checkpoints on the border with Ukraine.
As a reminder, on February 9, Polish farmers began a blockade of three checkpoints on the border with Ukraine, and on February 12, the protests spread to two more checkpoints, including Zosyn-Ustyluh. Since February 16, Polish farmers have been blocking the sixth checkpoint for the movement of goods.
On the evening of March 21, Polish farmers suspended their protest at the Zosyn-Ustyluh border crossing point. The day before, they had stopped blocking truck traffic at the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. And on March 28, they temporarily suspended blocking truck traffic in both directions at the Uhryniv-Dolhobychuv checkpoint. The blockade of the latter checkpoint resumed on April 2, but was suspended again on April 16.
