Moldova. Low sunflower yield seen while harvesting
Critical drought in Moldova has adversely affected the sunflower seed crop there. It slashed yield to 400 kg/ha against the average level of some 2 MT/ha.
The sunflower seed crop in 2019 amounted to 811 KMT (harvested area at 357 Th ha, yield at 2.27 MT/ha), UkrAgroConsult reports.
