Maersk plans to change the routes of its ships
Danish shipping company Maersk plans to reroute its vessels on the Middle East-India route in the Mediterranean and the Middle East-India route to the US East Coast near the Cape of Good Hope, the company said in a statement on Sunday, citing the situation in the Middle East.
The company also added that the shipping giant will temporarily suspend future trans-Suez voyages through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and continue accepting cargo destined for the Middle East region.
