Kyrgyzstan cuts import of sunflower oil by 19%
Kyrgyzstan has reduced import of sunflower oil by 19.1% in January-September 2023, according to the National Statistical Committee.
Import of sunflower oil dropped to 25,200 tons. In January-September 2022, Kyrgyzstan imported 31,200 tons of sunflower oil.
Import of oil in dollar equivalent decreased by 41.8% to $27.2 million.
83.7% of sunflowr oil were imported from Russia and 16% from Kazakhstan. Small amounts of oil were also imported from Armenia and Azerbaijan.
