Kazakhstan. KTZ to construct a grain terminal in the port of Kuryk

The construction of a grain terminal is planned in the Kazakh port of Kuryk. The project is being implemented by JSC KTZ (the national railway company of Kazakhstan) as part of Kuryk port development efforts.
The launch of this terminal (annual handling capacity at 1 MMT, one-time grain storage capacity at 25 KMT) is scheduled for 2022.
The terminal is intended to secure a forecast increase in grain exports from Kazakhstan to Iranian/Caucasian destinations and further to third countries, UkrAgroConsult reports.
