Jordanian traders claim that they will buy feed barley up to 120.000 T.
European traders reported on Thursday that Jordan’s State Grain Buyer has announced an international tender for the purchase of up to 120,00 metric tons animal feed barley.
14 August is the deadline for submitting price bids in the tender.
Jordan’s failure to purchase 120,000 tonnes of barley in the previous bid on Wednesday had led to a new announcement.
The tender seeks to ship a variety of combinations between 50,000 and 60,000 tons.
The same period as Wednesday’s auction is available for combinations: Sept. 1-15; Sept. 16-30; Oct. 1-15; and Oct. 16.31.
Jordan also released a separate bid to purchase 120,000 tonnes of wheat, which will close on August 13. Michael Hogan reported, Jason Neely edited.
