Jordan purchased 60 thousand tons of wheat
On February 13, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of hard milling wheat of random origin. This was reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
At the tender purchased 60 thousand tons of wheat from Ameropa at $253 per ton on the basis of C&F Aqaba with delivery from May 1 to 15, 2024.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- Viterra, which offered wheat at $276 per tonne
- Cargill – $259.75
- CHS – $258.55
- Buildcom – $264.77
- Cerealcom Dolj – $286.0MC Food – $274.0
- Grainflower – $259.5
- The Andersons – $262.8
According to traders, on ebruary 20, Jordan will hold the next tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of wheat with delivery from April 1 to 15.
