Jordan purchased 60 thousand tons of barley
On February 14, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of feed barley of random origin. This is reported by Reuters.
The tender purchased 60 thousand tons of barley from Dreyfus at $219 per ton on the basis of C&F Aqaba with delivery from June 1 to 15, 2024.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- Viterra, which offered barley at $229 per tonne
- Bunge – $240.50
- Olam – $239.88
- The Andersons – $231.80
- Grainflower – $230.00
- Cargill – $232.69
- CHS – $226.48
- TOI Commodities – $243.00
- Cerealcom Dolj
According to traders, Jordan will hold the next tender on February 21 to buy 120,000 tons of barley for delivery in April-May.
