Jordan purchased 50 thousand tons of wheat
On February 20, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of hard milling wheat of random origin. This was reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
The tender purchased 50 thousand tons of wheat from Farm Sense at $240.50 per ton on the basis of C&F Aqaba with delivery from May 16 to 31, 2024.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- CHS, which offered wheat at $249.35 per tonne
- Cargill – $248.30
- Cerealcom – $245.00
- Buildcom – $251.43
- Ameropa – $247.78.
- Grain Flower – $252.00
- Andersons – $251.79
