Jordan purchased 120 thsd tonnes of wheat
On January 17, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held the tender for the purchase of 120 thsd tonnes of durum milling wheat of arbitrary origin. It was reported by Zerno On-Line agency with the reference to the European traders.
The company purchased two batches of 60 thsd tonnes of wheat from Ameropa for $269 per tonne on C&F Aqaba basis, with delivery from March 15 to 31 and from April 1 to 15, 2024.
The following companies also took part in the tender:
- Cargill, which offered wheat at $278.96 per ton
- Nestwise – $280 per ton
- CHS – $282.7
- MC Food – $283
