Jordan canceled a tender for wheat purchase
On November 19, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan canceled a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of milling wheat of random origin. This was reported by Zerno On-line agency with reference to European traders.
Eight companies took part in the tender: Viterra, CHS, Cargill, Al Dahra, Ameropa, Olam, Cereal Crops and Buildcom.
According to traders, Jordan will hold a tender on November 26 to buy a similar volume of wheat with shipment in January-March 2025.
